Who We Are
Hi, I’m the creator of Kimbap Life.
I’m a student at Seoul National University, and I run this website with my mother. I started Kimbap Life because I wanted to share the Korea I know with people from around the world.
I grew up in Korea and have always been surrounded by Korean food, culture, and everyday life. There are many things about Korea that are easy to miss when you only visit the well-known places, and I wanted to share some of those things through Kimbap Life.
My mother has a Ph.D. in Tourism and has a deep interest in Korean tourism and culture. She helps me with the content and brings her knowledge and experience to the website.
Why I Created Kimbap Life
For me, Korea is found in everyday places and ordinary moments.
It might be a meal at a local restaurant, a walk through a traditional market, a quiet neighborhood, or a dish shared around a family table. These small experiences can tell you a lot about Korea.
I want Kimbap Life to be a place where you can discover those parts of Korea and get a better sense of what life here is really like.
My mother and I will continue to explore Korea and share what we find along the way.
